It has finally happened! My tier point balance reached 1500 and I am now officially a Gold member of the British Airways Executive Club.
This is something that I never thought I would ever achieve, given that my job doesn’t involve flying but through a lot of research, guidance, and ideas from FlyerTalk and other blogs, I have been able to plan my flying effectively.
It has been a very fun year, with my epic trip up to Aberdeen, my jaunt around Europe with my Mum, a fabulous two weeks away in California, and most recently a very restful week in the Caribbean. I will be doing a full review of my flying year soon.
It is fair to say that this coming year of flying will not be as full, so I don’t expect to renew gold in 2018. In the meantime I am looking forward to learning more obvious on my upcoming flights, be able to use the galleries first lounge at Heathrow, as well as the new first check-in and security wing that is due to open later this spring. Most of all however I am looking forward to being able to sit in 1A on a Boeing 747 and enjoying the view with a glass of champagne.
